On Aug. 5, a dog mom posted a video showing her being chosen by the cat distribution system. A stray tuxedo feline jumped over her fence to make acquaintance with her, all while the woman tried to stay away from her. However, the cat was desperate, leading the dog owner to her kittens.

West Virginia resident Amber Reed was never a cat person and was a “dog mom through and through.” However, a chance encounter with a stray had her do all she could for the feline. The 31-year-old had to resign to her fate and accept the cat distribution system’s decision, with the kitty jumping over her fence to reach her.
In the video, the stray cat leaps over her fence and nuzzles against her. Considering the feline was so affectionate, Reed couldn’t resist lifting her into her arms as she called her boss to convince them to take in the kitty. The adorable video garnered more than 682,000 views and 196,000 likes.
However, their story doesn’t end there, as the West Virginia resident tried to look for the stray cat’s owners. Unfortunately, scanning for a microchip also didn’t help, per Newsweek. Finally, Reed let the feline named Miley lead the way, hoping she would find her owners. Instead, the cat led to her kittens, who were up a hill and in a bush.
The cat distribution system chose the dog mom, so she tried her best to help Miley and her little ones. The stray cat has found a forever home with Reed’s neighbor. However, her kittens will need some work done before they can be put up for adoption. As the feral little ones were “spicy,” they must be socialized before finding a loving home.
